Ruth Nilsson

Ruth joined our team recently as a member of the front desk “Super Team”. She is the friendly voice you hear on the phone if you call the office during the day. She coordinates the front desk and keeps the physiotherapists on track. Ruth helps our patients feel comfortable when booking appointments and navigating their insurance companies, WCB, and DVA. 

Prior to working at the clinic she worked at Nova Scotia Fire School as an administrative assistant. Her educational background is in environmental studies. While at work she enjoys making patients feel welcome to the clinic and has proven to be  a calming presence for those patients experiencing the anxiety and frustration of an injury.

In her spare time Ruth likes hiking and enjoying the natural environment of Nova Scotia which reminds her of her home in Scotland.
