Tracy Stewart

RMT

Tracy is the owner of Aurora Massage Therapy Clinic and has been working as a massage therapist for over 20 years  She started the business in 1999 after graduating from Northumberland College.  After spending time at Dalhousie University majoring in Physics while working as a physiotherapy assistant at Beaverbank Physiotherapy she decided to pursue a career in Massage Therapy.  Her long term relationship with both clinics makes her an excellent choice for stability as a therapist.  She is a long term resident of Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia.

Tracy’s strengths and special interests as therapist include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and fascia release.  She has extensive experience working with patients involved in motor vehicle accidents and work related injuries. She is experienced in navigating these sometimes complicated processes and will always help her patients do the same. Tracy also works with sports injuries as well as massage for relaxation. She enjoys being challenged to solve problems.

Her interests include camping, kayaking, karate, walking her dogs and hanging out with her daughter. Occasionally she forgets her true age and thinks she can do what she did in her 20’s, so she has personal experience with both massage and physiotherapy at the clinic.

Over the last 15 years Tracy has been involved in the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia as the Chairperson for the Continuing Education Committee. This has given her experience and knowledge of the Massage Therapy profession and has afforded her the opportunity to influence policies in Nova Scotia. Tracy believes in giving back to the profession and uses her spare time to do so.
